GUIDE FOR REPORTING IRREGULARITIES

 

ALGETRANSIT, S.L. complying with the requirements established in Law 2/2023, of February 20, regulating the protection of people who report regulatory infractions and the fight against corruption, it has implemented a CHANNEL FOR REPORTING IRREGULARITIES and developed a Manual in the What we can highlight:

➢ Irregularity Reporting Channel

It is the means through which any employee, collaborator or subcontractor, and person outside the company can confidentially report or report on irregular facts or conduct, in which an employee of ALGETRANSIT, S.L. has intervened directly or indirectly, guaranteeing that It will be attended to and rigorously investigated, adopting the appropriate measures in accordance with internal and external regulations.

➢ What can I report on?

In the Irregularity Reporting Channel you can report possible irregularities, non-compliance or behavior contrary to our code of ethics, legislation or our internal regulations.

Such as issues related to, among others, public procurement, bribery and corruption, competition laws, fraud, financial crimes and prevention of money laundering, product safety, transport security, food safety, animal health and animal welfare, public health, consumer protection, protection of privacy and personal data and network security, infringements of competition rules and finally, criminal or administrative offences, serious or very serious. Those infractions that represent a loss for the Public Treasury and Social Security will always be understood as very serious.

• Irregularity Reporting Channel established on the website https://www.algetransit.es/ – Freight Forwarders, Customs Agents.

➢ Complaint management procedure:

• Reception of reports of irregularities, sending an acknowledgment of receipt of the report, using an identification code, the date and time of presentation, within a maximum period of 5 days.

• Assessment of how best to address whistleblowing and protect and support the whistleblower;

• Handling of allegations of irregularities and the protection and support needs of those involved;

• Conclusion of whistleblowing cases.

• Issuance of report

➢ Guarantee of the complainant and other interested parties:

• absolute protection in all cases

• Information will be shared only in cases where it is strictly necessary.

• support throughout the process, including regular communication, with special consideration for vulnerable people (e.g. children, young people, migrant workers, people with mental health problems or learning difficulties and older people)

• When it affects the performance of the complainant’s functions, the place of work or the information reporting mechanisms will be changed.

• Any disruptive behavior or violation of confidentiality may be a disciplinary offense.

• respect for the presumption of innocence and the honor of the affected persons.

ALGETRANSIT, S.L., will consider any false or malicious accusation made deliberately as a very serious infraction, which may be sanctioned in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Ethics and Conduct, by application of labor and/or criminal regulations.
